I have the professional  experience that you need to complete your transaction. I have been an attorney since 1982. Until 1995 I had been an attorney for a large corporation that bought and sold much real estate. Since 1995 I have been in private practice and have been concentrating in real estate transactions along with other areas of law. For Buyers:

  • I will review your purchase contract.
  • I can request modifications to the contract to fit your particular circumstances when the contract provides for attorney approval.
  • I will communicate with the seller's attorney, your salesperson and other professionals to see that everything is done when it should be done.
  • After your professional inspection, I can conduct negotiations and request that the seller make certain repairs or make adjustments to the purchase price.
  • I will review the title commitment that the seller provides and make sure that you are getting the title that you expect.
  • I will review the survey that the seller provides to determine that it is satisfactory.
  • I can give you advice on how to take title to the property along with other parties.
  • I will attend the closing with you, explain all of the loan documents that you sign, make sure that all of the documents that the seller provides are satisfactory and make sure that you are paying only for the things that you should.

For Sellers:

  • I will review your sale contract.
  • I can request modifications to the contract to fit your particular circumstances when the contract provides for attorney approval.
  • I will communicate with the buyer's attorney, your salesperson and other professionals to see that everything is done when it should be done.
  • After the buyer's professional inspection and request for repairs, I can conduct negotiations and help you decide which repairs or price adjustments you should make.
  • I will order the title commitment that you are required to provide and help you correct title problems.
  • I will order the survey that you are required to provide.
  • I will assist you in ordering payoff statements in order to determine what is required to obtain releases for your mortgage liens.
  • I will assist you in meeting the requirements of your city to transfer real estate.
  • I will prepare all of the sale documents that you are required to provide.
  • I will attend the closing with you and explain all of the sale documents that you sign and make sure that you are paying only for the things that you should.
